Summary

In 2008, the American Civil Liberties filed a lawsuit against the Tangipahoa Parish School Board regarding religious expression issues. The group has filed at least six such lawsuits against the board for opening its meetings with prayer, even after the school board adopted a model invocations policy prepared by ADF attorneys.
